The Bain Capability Network (BCN) plays a critical role in supporting Bain's case teams globally to help with analytics and research across all industries, for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) sits within the BCN and supports Bain’s procurement work globally.

What will you do as a Procurement Senior Analyst?

  • Play a senior team member role on COE cases, at times leading simple cases fairly independently and at times driving the analysis on more complicated cases with significant direction from a Team Leader
  • Conduct market research, codify Bain’s intellectual property and work closely with third party analytics vendors to support procurement spend analysis
  • Interact with third party vendors at times to trouble shoot and resolve issues
  • Work with case teams across geographies and industries however, you will focus almost exclusively on procurement projects
  • Provide significant direction and support to resolve complex issues and effectively manage client and team meetings
  • May manage 1-3 Procurement Analysts and take responsibility for sharing appropriate information’s across work streams
  • Provide feedback and coach COE Analysts on task execution and role
  • High performing Procurement Senior Analysts may have the opportunity to travel globally to work directly with procurement case teams.

Wymagane umiejętności

  • Proficient professional with analytics bent of mind and 2+ years of experience in procurement consulting domain preferably with mid-tier to large consulting firms or experience in similar analytical roles within a procurement department or with procurement spend analytics
  • Ability to handle large spend data and perform complex analytics to give clients visibility over their procurement spend and identify savings
  • Working knowledge of data analytics and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Alteryx and Tableau
  • Proficient in market research; able to provide solid business judgment to derive answers in situations where data is not easily available or explicitly published
  • Outstanding organization, prioritization and time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Aptitude for practical and innovative problem solving with good attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to learning and personal development
  • Openness to giving and receiving feedback
  • Ability to travel (10%)
  • Proficient English is essential, other European language will be an advantage
